About Our School
A Legacy of Learning in the Heart of Kaushambi
Established in 1966 by the visionary Late Shri Devendra Nath Ji an eminent advocate Maheshwari Prasad Inter College was founded with a single purpose: to bring quality education to one of the most underserved regions of Uttar Pradesh.
From humble beginnings in a private residence, the institution grew to earn High School recognition in 1974 and Intermediate recognition in 1979. Today, with over 2,700 students — more than half of them girls — the college stands as a beacon of educational excellence and social transformation in rural India.

Our Founder
Late Devendra Nath Ji
An eminent advocate and deeply committed educationist, Late Devendra Nath Ji founded this institution in 1966 from his own residence, driven by one conviction that the children of Alamchand and surrounding villages deserved the same quality of education as any child in the city.
His relentless efforts led to High School recognition in 1974 and Intermediate recognition in 1979. The annual Smriti Diwas programme is held every year in his honour attended by dignitaries including the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and the Chief Justice of India.
His legacy lives on in every student who walks through the gates of MPIC.
